You get the bonus levels packaged in that were released way back when for the original game, and as a nice bonus you get the original DOS version of the game. The only real disappointment I have with the Chasm remaster is there was no real new content here. Chasm also has quite a creepy and unsettling atmosphere at times.
For a 1997 game, there is quite a lot of decent texture detail in its levels, and the models all look very good for their time and are well animated. With the re-release, you get to see just how well Chasms visuals hold up. Chasms game play still holds up well, and it plays just as good as Quake does, the game it's always compared to despite the fact Chasm did not come out the same time as Quake, but it came out after Quake 2 a game it really had no chance of outshining. Gibbing was always good in Chasm, but now it's the best it ever has been. It runs silky smooth and comes with some other improvements like some new lighting and some remastered sounds and improved gore. Chasm now looks and plays better than it ever has. Chasm the rift was finally brought back in remastered form for Steam and GOG.
